I personally didn't grow up around substance or alcohol abuse but I've heard how devastating it can be. I'm pleased to see you active in your children's lives in an ethical way. I like that you are trying your hardest to be a good example and not repeat the things that went badly in your childhood. When you succeed (and I'm sure you will) you wont have to worry about logging on the net and find that your child has written a journal like MINE.
